TabTrade - The Short Version
Tab Trade launched in March 2026. Online broker based in Saint Lucia, licensed through the Financial Services Regulatory Authority. The person who started it is Benjamin Boulter. Before this, he was in leadership at BlackBull Markets, an FMA-regulated broker.
The BlackBull connection tells you something. It means the founder knows how a proper broker operates. Does not mean TabTrade is the same as BlackBull. It is preferable to someone with no brokerage experience.
TabTrade came out of the gate with execution through Equinix servers. Same infrastructure banks and hedge funds use. Most new brokers leads with marketing and bonuses. Tab Trade did the opposite. Unusual for a new broker.
The instrument list: forex, indices, metals, commodities, shares, cryptocurrencies, exchange-traded funds. A wide spread. For a platform that launched in March 2026, that range is broad.
The Software
They offer: MT5, cTrader, and a WebTrader. Both platforms from a single account. A lot of brokers commit to either MT5 or cTrader. Getting both matters. Use whichever you prefer.
MetaTrader 5 is the default. Complete charts, EAs, massive community. If you have traded on MetaTrader before, it is familiar territory.
cTrader by Spotware is the more modern one. Better DOM. Smoother chart interaction. cBot support. A lot of traders like it better than MT5 after using both.
Direct FIX connectivity is offered for algo traders but needs the VIP account ($25,000 deposit). TradingView is said to be coming. That will round things out once it is live.
Costs
Three levels: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard. 1.0 pip spreads. Zero commission. Straightforward. Zero deposit requirement. Suits beginners.
Edge account. Interbank-style spreads from 0.0 pips average. Commission of $3.50 each way. What you actually pay: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On majors, the actual interbank spread is often below 0.2 pips. Meaning your all-in cost can sit under half a pip. That is cheap for a broker with no minimum deposit. Most brokers that run raw pricing at this level want $500 or more to open. TabTrade has no minimum.
VIP. $25,000 deposit required. FIX connectivity, execution under 20ms, custom pricing. Not for most retail traders. Skip it unless you trade institutionally.
Infrastructure
The speed is the thing this broker separates from most new launches. Equinix servers in London. Sub-30ms execution on Edge. Below 20ms on VIP. That is institutional numbers. The average platform operate at a much wider range.
Should you care? If you trade small timeframes, absolutely. The gap between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is catching the move or missing it. If you swing trade, you will not notice. But the fact that they invested in proper execution. That signals they are not cutting corners on the tech.
Pair those fill times with raw spreads at $3.50 per side and what you get is strong. Hardly anyone with no minimum deposit have infrastructure at this level.
Regulation
Now, the thing you need to be straight about. The broker is licensed by Saint Lucia's FSRA. That is offshore. No CySEC. No government-backed safety net. If that is a problem for you, look elsewhere. Plenty of ASIC-licensed brokers out there.
But. Benjamin Boulter came from BlackBull Markets, a proper broker. The execution setup is not cheap. Scam brokers do not bother with Equinix connectivity. This does not guarantee anything. It does inform your assessment.
What you are accepting: no FCA or ASIC safety net. In exchange: high leverage, cheap spreads, no minimum deposit, Equinix execution. Whether the trade-off is worth it depends on you.
The Bonus
TabTrade has a deposit bonus of up to $2,000. Typical welcome offer. You fund your account, the broker add bonus funds. Usual conditions attached: minimum lots traded before you can withdraw the bonus. Read the conditions before you commit.
