TabTrade Broker Review - What to Know Before You Sign Up

The Broker - The Short Version

TabTrade.com went live in Q1 2026. CFD broker based in Saint Lucia, licensed through the Financial Services Regulatory Authority. The founder is Benjamin Boulter. Previously, he was on the executive team at BlackBull Markets, a New Zealand-regulated broker.

His background matters. It suggests the leadership has actually done this before. Does not guarantee anything. Still more reassuring than a random name you cannot trace.

They launched with Equinix LD4/LD5 connectivity. Same infrastructure banks and hedge funds use. The typical new launch leads with marketing and bonuses. These guys led with infrastructure. Not the typical playbook.

Market coverage: FX, stock indices, gold, silver, commodities, shares, crypto, exchange-traded funds. A wide spread. For something that is a few months old, that coverage is solid.

What You Trade On

They offer: MT5, cTrader by Spotware, and web trading. Both platforms from a single account. A lot of brokers commit to either MT5 or cTrader. Getting both is useful. Pick what suits your style.

MT5 is the default. Full charting, EAs, huge user base. If you have traded on MetaTrader previously, it is familiar territory.

cTrader is the alternative. Better depth of market. More responsive charts. Native automated trading. Many people prefer it after using both.

FIX API is there for automated strategies but is only on the VIP tier ($25k minimum). TradingView charting is reportedly in the works. That would make the platform set when it lands.

Costs

Three account types: Standard, Edge, VIP.

Standard. Spread starts at 1.0 pips. No commission. Straightforward. Zero deposit requirement. Works for beginners.

Edge. Interbank-style spreads from 0.0 pips average. Commission of $3.50 each way. What you actually pay: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On majors, the actual interbank spread is frequently below 0.2 pips. Meaning your all-in cost can sit under half a pip. That is cheap for an offshore broker. Most platforms that offer pricing like this require a minimum deposit. This broker requires zero deposit.

VIP account. $25,000 minimum. FIX API, faster fills, custom pricing. Not for the average person. Skip it unless you trade institutionally.

How Fast Are the Fills

The execution is the area where this broker stands apart. Equinix servers in London. Execution below 30 milliseconds on Edge. Below 20ms on VIP. That is not marketing fluff. The average platform operate at a much wider range.

Should you care? If you trade small timeframes, it does. The gap between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is catching the move or missing it. If you swing trade, you will not notice. But the fact that they invested in proper execution. That signals what kind of broker this is.

Pair that execution speed with 0.0 pip spreads and $7 round-turn and the overall offering makes sense. Few brokers in this bracket have infrastructure at this level.

The FSRA Question

Here is the part that matters. Tab Trade is under the Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Saint Lucia. That is tier-3. No CySEC. No government-backed safety net. If that is a dealbreaker, stop reading. There are tier-1 alternatives out there.

However. The founder built his career at BlackBull Markets, an FMA-regulated broker. The execution setup is expensive. Fly-by-night platforms do not pay for tier-1 data centre access. None of this make it safe. It should factor into your assessment.

What you are accepting: you give up tier-1 protection. For that: high leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, no minimum deposit, fast fills. Whether this deal works is your call.

Deposit Bonus

Tab Trade has a deposit bonus of up to $2,000. Typical sign-up bonus. You fund your account, the broker add bonus funds. Usual conditions attached: turnover conditions before bonus funds can be taken out. Review the fine print before you deposit.
